Best app won’t logon using Google on iPhone

The nest app on my iPhone recently asked me to logon again.  I click on logon using Google.  It accepts my if etc and asks me to confirm access for nest.  Then transfers me back to the nest app which asks me to logon again!  (Repeat endlessly). Works ok on my iPad and in a browser.  

tried deleting and re installing all to no avail.  

any suggestions?

OK, I think I know what has caused this   It happened while I was away, and I was using it over a mobile data link (networks in Spain, France, and Italy).  As soon as I got back to the UK irt started working again.  

 

I have had issues with some apps in the past not working over mobile data so it could be something to do with that.  However, it doesn't explain why it continues to work on my iPad, and my wife's phone.

I am having the exact same problem, and the Nest forget password never sends a password. It has worked perfectly for years, now seems with this Google migration they have broke it!!

Im having the same issues. Just got a Nest doorbell and my Google home sends me to the Nest app if I choose add Google device, Doorbell, Nest doorbell, and then it does nothing. If I choose compatible Google device and choose nest, it sends me to the nest website to sign-in. But it won’t accept my sign-in and won’t send a password reset email. I even went so far as to change my email through my Google account which was irritating!

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? Just to double check, you're using the correct log in for your account, and you're using a gmail email address correct?
