Since Works with Nest is going away. Did Google finally allow Nest Thermostats to work with Google Home that uses a Google Workspace Basic accounts?i.e. Using my Google Workspace account can I say 'Hey Google, raise the thermostat"?

Do I have to have a gmail email account to migrate the nest app with google home? I use the same yahoo.com email for both apps right now.
