I can’t seem to access my nest account. I have a nest doorbell & smoke alarms which my app doesn’t see. I never migrated my nest account to Google. So now my doorbells not functional. I’m assuming I should just start over from scratch & add the old nest products directly to my Google account? But then do I need to climb up to my cathedral ceiling to add that alarm? Thanks!

If you are suddenly not seeing your Google Nest doorbell and Nest Protects in the Google Nest app, the most likely reason is that you have somehow inadvertently logged in with a different account than the one on which those devices were installed.

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I see you’re having trouble accessing your Nest account. It sounds like your Nest Doorbell and Smoke Alarm doesn't appear in the app even though the account never was migrated; now, the doorbell isn’t connecting, and you're determining if a factory reset is needed to add them to your Google account.
