The webpage behind the Google home app automation is not rendering properly. It is not taking into account the notification bar on my phone making the tick box inaccessible (top right under by battery status)
I can not save the name of an automation, meaning I can not create an automation.
Is it just a broken webpage or can I fix it??

I managed to get "past" it by changing the display magnification on my phone right up, then the buttons are big enough to press the bottom edge

Seems like the issue has been fixed with the latest release (3.37.55.2) on 28 July.

Hi Aidenfry,
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing while you are trying to edit the name of your automation and the web page is not rendering properly. I understand how difficult this can be. But don't worry; I'm here to help.
The recommendation will be to try with a different computer or device to create the automation and try to use a different name this time.
If after completing these steps the issue persists, I kindly suggest you contact the Developer Center for further assistance.
Best regards,
Jenny

The issue was created by Google for Google.
Essentially, Google forced apps to adopt edge-to-edge but failed to update their own in-house apps. Don't bother with all the pointless troubleshooting that the support agents waste your time with. All we can hope is it's patched in the next Google Home app update.
