I am trying to enable presence detection for my son's Android device. I added him to our home group, but presence is not an option in his home app.
Location is turned on and "all the time". I can see his location in Family link but my home app says he location is not enabled.
When I try to enable it on his device, it gives me the map to confirm current location and then says "could not save". And that's it, I am stuck.
I tried to get through to support today and waited in the chat queue (started at #32) for 8 hours before it was clear that nobody was answering and they left me in stranded (stuck at #8 in queue for several hours).
Googling this shows other people have had this problem but no resolution.
