Google Nest Cameras Take Long Time to Load or Don't Load at All

Hi I have a 1Gbps internet connection and Eero Max 7 Mesh network.  We have 8 external Nest Floodlight cameras and 5 internal Nest cameras.  Internal cameras are set to "event only" while others have CVR.  

When loading Google Home app on my iOS device, the cameras take a VERY long time (1 min+) or don't load at all.  This was not happening ~ December of last year.  Can you please help me?

In order to gather further details and determine the optimal resolution, I would appreciate your assistance in answering the following questions:

  • What model of Nest cameras do you have? If you’re unable to recognize them, refer to this article: Technical specs for Nest cameras and doorbells
  • When did the trouble start?
  • Are you getting any error messages?
  • Do you have a Nest Aware subscription? If so, which one?
  • How far are the cameras from the Wi-Fi router?
  • Do you have other Nest devices in the house?
  • Are there other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi where the cameras are connected?
  • Can the cameras find other Wi-Fi networks?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera?
  • Do other devices experience slow internet speeds?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
  • What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.
