Cannot link Netflix or Disney+ accounts to my Google Assistant

Hello,

 

I am having rouble connecting my Netflix and Disney+ accounts to my Google Assistant. They have been working just fine for over 2 years and I was completely able to use my voice to play shows/movies on my TV. Suddenly when asking my Google Hole device to play something on my TV, a message appeared asking me to unlink and relink my Netflix account. I unlinked it but I can’t seem to link it back again. I’m logging in but the screen just seems to freeze on my Google Home app and doesn’t complete the linking process.

All software/firmware is up to date on all devices and everything is on the same Wi-Fi. I’ve tried uninstalling Netflix and reinstalling it but does not link still. 

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Something broke the integration between Google Home accounts and Netflix on Nov. 10 and Google Nest Support was saying the night of Nov. 10 it would take 24-48 hours to fix it; as of right now, it's not fixed:

Hi RP95,

I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw MplsCustomer's reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. If you are still needing some help, just let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping. Hey Yusi, is your situation the same where it was previously linked, or have you never been able to get the accounts to link?

Hi! Yes I did see the reply, thank you so much Mpls Customer. But unfortunately I have not yet been able to link my accounts as yet. Just waiting on the fix to be done, as when I try and link now it still does not complete the process.

I hope it gets resolved soon.

From all the posts I've seen, while it's fixed for some of us, it is not fixed for many customers in many countries.

I am in the US and I am ready to throw this thing out of a window. It is so frustrating. I have followed every bit of advice, linking unlinking deleting and reinstalling. My Nest Hub will not connect to my linked video services. Come on Google! Fix this or send a refund. Class action maybe?
