Chromecast set up with no usb port just hdmi

My old tv has an hdmi port but no usb will it still work

Hi Johno42,

A Chromecast plugs in to a HDMI port and doesn't use a USB port. The Chromecast should be powered using the Google supplied power adapter and not from the TV.
