Connecting Google Home to Alexa

Just installed my Nest 4th gen. When I try and use Google Home to Link amazon to Alexa I get this error "the requested url /gha_next was not foundon this server. thats all we know" Everytime. 

Like the thermostate but the apps.....not so much.

I've never got the Nest account to work. I was then told it doesn't work with nest gen4.

 

It is enabled in the alexa app

Thank you for your reply; I appreciate the information. Since the issue persists and you are unable to link Amazon Alexa to your Google Home app, I would like to verify a few details with you. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
  3. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Google device.
  4. Tap Home settings > Services > Amazon Alexa skill.
  5. Tap Enable to activate the skill within the Google Home app.

That’s what I have done in the past and just now. I still get the error message

the requested url /gha_next was not found on this server

I have my nest 4th gen working in google home. I have selected the nest skill in Alexa. When I go to google home and set it up for the Alexa skill I get this error

the requested url /gha_next was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

 

any ideas what’s wrong? Thanks
