Devices removed from google home

Why have my smart lights been removed from google home app. Tried to reconnect but app is only showing the 4 gang switch and not the individual switches

Please answer the following: what's the manufacturer of your smart lights? Were they working fine before? Were there any changes before that happened? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Try to unlink and relink your smart devices again. Once done, ask your Google Home to "sync your devices" and let me know how it goes.

Make is Cikuso and was working fine. I have unlinked accounts reset switch but still only showing ad one device when linking Google home to smart life

Hi Mike06, 

If you don't mind, please post a screenshot of the smart switches from the Google Home app so I can look into this. You can also try creating a new Home structure and linking your devices there to further isolate the issue.

I want to check if you tried the steps provided by Lovely. Also, check out the steps below on how to upload a photo:

 

  1. Start a new post.
  2. Click Insert Image.
  3. Choose an image source location.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions
     

Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.

Hey Mike06, 

I'm just checking in to see if that one device linked to you is composed of four smart switches. If they are, place the switches in different rooms in the SmartLife app before linking them again to the Google Home.

Switch is a 4 gang composed of 4 separate switches. Each switch is allocated to a different room within the smart life app

Hello Mike06, 

I want to take a closer look at this. Please try to unlink SmartLife from the Google Home app, then leave only one switch in the SmartLife app. Once done, link it to Google Home before connecting the other switches to SmartLife and into your home structure again.

Let us know if that works.

All tried with same result. Still only shows 4 lights as one light
