My Nest subscription just renewed and I got double charged. I sent support an email about it and they denied it happened and said they didn’t see anything wrong. This has happened 2 years in a row. I saw another post on this from 9/2023 and wanted to comment on it because the person who started that comment thread was going to take her case to her lawyer and get others on board who also got scammed, but Google blocked commenting on it. So, here I am looking for others and/or for Google to own their mistakes and pay customers back.

Do you by any chance have a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription AND a 2nd gen Nest Aware subscription? Judging from other posts in this forum, it seems that when customers switch from a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription to a 2nd gen Nest Aware subscription and fail to immediately cancel their 1st gen Nest Aware subscription, they lose access to the 1st gen subscription and can't cancel it.
The 1st gen subscriptions are accessed here: https://store.nest.com/account/subscriptions. If you are on the 2nd gen Nest Aware subscription (as we have been since 2020), you can't get to that page and instead are automatically rerouted to the 2nd gen Nest Aware subscription page (https://store.google.com/subscriptions).
On top of that, it also seems, judging from other posts, that Google Nest Support for some reason cannot access a customer's 1st gen subscription AND 2nd gen subscription, and therefore cannot easily help the customer.
You could try contacting Support again to see if that's what's happening in your case:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
