HI
I’m using Meross garage door unit for door motor actuation. It works well, but after I gave (via voice input) three times the password incorrectly the account for this function got locked. Google Support could not help, they just said it should work. Yeah it should. The re-configuration is quite a task so if anybody has hints for resetting the password that would be great. If not I will reset and re-configurate.
Bit unfinished app control still I think,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's see what's going on.
A few questions: can you still control them on the Meross app? What's the exact command you've used in controlling your garage door? Also, did you set up a code when opening your garage?
Give these steps a try: log out from your Meross app. Then, unlink your Meross account from your Google Home app. Once done, log back in and link your account back. Rebooting your devices together with your router might help too.
