Google Home App not opening

My google home app will not open; it just kind of flickers for a second, closes, and then goes back to Home Screen of my phone. I have tried everything I can think of; closed all apps, rebooted my phone, deleted my history, closed out all google apps, deleted the app and reinstalled it; nothing works.

i have used it many times, as it shows my day to day camera set ups. I don’t know how to fix.

Hi Tee7,

I updated to the newest software available on my iPhone, rebooted; and then Google Home opened and worked normally. Because I had uninstalled and reinstalled the Home App a few times, I had to reconnect my devices; using 1 QR code symbol; but after one was installed, the others came back automatically. 

it took 3 days of troubleshooting, but the software update worked for me.

Did you try to update software on your phone to newest version? That worked for me… my last resort would be to try to get a tech agent on the phone to troubleshoot…

I have tried all of these options and my google home app will still not load. Everytime I click on the app to open the logo appears and then the app immediately quits. It has been like this for 5 days. I have a iPhone.

I did this and it worked:  I updated to the newest software available on my iPhone, rebooted; and then Google Home opened and worked normally. I also had uninstall and reinstalled the Home App a few times, but this did not work. I hope this works for you. 

I have updated my phone to the latest version, installed and un-installed the app multiple times, and rebooted my phone multiple times. Nothing seems to work.

I’m experiencing exactly the same issues. The app cant be opened. It just appear the logo for maybe 1 second and it closed. I’ve tried every options offered from this community. But nothing seems to work on me 😞 Help I’m desperate already
