The link implies that some sort of web browser will be used that can monitor compatible Nest cams. Two questions:
1. Which cameras will be the "compatible" cameras? The way it is worded, it seems to indicate that some Google cameras will not be compatible.
2. It also indicates that the end user will have to use a program hat is run is a web browser and this is good. I am also looking for the capability to monitor my cameras on my computer without using a browser. Will that be coming to?

The Google Home for WEB was introduced today, so question 2 above has been partially answered browser other than . It does work with the google browser but is limited. It can not do all that the Google Home app for Android can do. Nice start, but needs more work. Still looking for a program that I can download that will monitor my system without using a browser. And, apparently, Google Home for Web does not work with any browser other than Google. It needs to be more flexible and use Edge and Firefox.
Question 1 is still answered as it does work with the Gen 2 battery and wired cameras.
