Google Home Preview - Accepted but never showed new interface

I joined the waitlist for the preview the day it was launched. (Pixel 7 Pro, pixel watch too) And then a week or so ago I was accepted finally. I got the pop up and asked me to join. I clicked accept or whatever the verbage was to join. I then got an immediate error message pop up. It was to fast to read or get a screenshot shot. Went to the preview page and it showed me the "soon" page. 

I waited 2 days and nothing. I assumed something went wrong and withdrew the preview. Then immediately rejoined and now I'm back to the your response has been received page.  Anything I can do to speed this along or am I stuck in some sort of setup? Any ideas? 

 

My spouse's phone iPhone 14 Pro signed up 2 weeks ago and was approved in 2-4 days and once accepted the preview was showing in 1 hour. Like seriously??? Mine takes months and poof 4 day and it's done.

I don't think you're alone. I withdrew my preview request after nothing happened for a month.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

 

When accepted into the Public Preview program, users get a notification the next time they open Google Home app. There will also be a card in the app feed mentioning the same, which invites users to acknowledge the approval.
 

There are no eligibility requirements to be part of Public Preview. If you haven’t been invited into the program, this just means we’re at capacity right now. We hope to expand the program slowly over time, and we appreciate your patience.

 

We encourage you to report issues and leave feedback from the Preview menu in the Google Home app.

The problem was I was accepted into the Program but I got some sort of error message. Then the UI never updated to the new preview. So after 2 ish days I withdrew from the preview. And tried to join all over again. So I'm pretty much back at square 1 waiting another few months to be accepted again into the preview. 

 

It's funny my spouse has an iPhone and signed up for the beta and like 3 days later was in the preview. But with a pixel 7 Pro and and every single nest device made I'm waiting months. Just ironic. 

 

So the question if I still need help. Yes, but from your response that's not something you can help me fix. Thanks.

I understand, we are trying to accommodate as much users as we can in our limited environment for the preview. We will most definitely take this feedback and this is appreciated. If you got in and experienced the same thing don't hesitate to create another thread so we can assist you.
