Are you starting the Google Home app for the very first time? If so, did you click "Get Started" and then select your Google Account on the next page?

No, I bought a new phone, and I tried to log in with my gmail account, but it was asking for my birthday, and I selected the wrong year, then I was able to logged in, but there was nothing on it, just a welcome message, that's it.

I think that should only happen if you've logged onto the Google Home app with a Google Account different from the one where your Google Home devices are set up--a Google Account being used in the Google Home app for the first time, where everything has to be set up for the first time.

I've used the same account from my old phone. This is so weird. Nothing seems to be working, so I created a new account and I was able to see that + icon where I can setup the thermostat and other devices.

If your thermostat and other devices are set up under your old Google Account, aren't you going to have problems trying to add them using the new Google Account you're trying to add?
