It is beyond frustrating that you can only use the Home App on a mobile device. 

I don't want to control my entire home from the smallest display i own. if you are going to restrict this to mobile apps, then you should be allowing the IOS app to be downloadable from the Mac OS app store, its a simple solution that Apple wants to allow but, Google restricted, for what reason!? 

this should be day one, obvious stuff!

Hear, Hear!!!  I agree!  And I'm not on iOS but would love to have this app on my WIN 10 desktop, where I have a larger display and larger Keyboard !!
