Nothing but confusion from Nest/Google as I tried to add 2 Nest Protect smoke detectors using the Nest app. It didn’t let me login with Google or Nest credentials. Phoning Nest support confirmed the integration and account migration has been exquisitely f*^%ed up. In the process, my Google password got reset to the one for my Nest account. Badly done, Google. Dunno what to suggest to help y’all improve; maybe do some testing before going live?
