Google asssistant not working with home devices

Hi there.

I have android galaxy s21 latest Android with Google home

I have a bunch of devices connected to home app.

I can manually control each device within the app. But when I use voice, it asks me to connect devices.

I restarted my phone 3 times. Same issue.

I also have a Google home in my kitchen and the voice commands work on it.

Not sure what's happening why it's not working on my phone.

Here too... I've been going crazy for a couple of days... it's as if the account used for Assistant is different from the one used in Home but OBVIOUSLY it's not like that. The problem is with Google because it happens on 3 different phones. Please fix it soon as it is unacceptable.

If I say "turn on the kitchen light" it only gives me search results, if I invoke a routine (which I've been using for years!) it doesn't recognize it... it's as if I were using an account completely unrelated to my Home (clearly not so). I've tried everything, deleting and re-entering the family members account, reinstalling Google Assistant, restarting the device, redoing "sync devices"....all to no avail. The other family members have no problems and home automation works perfectly from the Home app. Sorry for the English (I'm Italian).

Connected devices seems to be working but on a side note syncing of devices seems to be having issue like when asked to sync, respond would be " Alright, syncing devices from 5 providers, 20 device are not available, try setting up". this is syncing by routine. when asked to sync manually, there would be error like not able to control devices.

Hi keong1981,

Thanks for trying the steps. Can you please reboot your router together with your Google Nest speakers simply by unplugging it from the power source for at least a few minutes. After plugging the devices back, ask it to sync again and let's see if this will work.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

Princess

I did a Samsung update and issue resolved on its own

I'm guessing it was a weird bug.
