Hi there,
I have a Pixel 5, 6 google home devices, a chromecast, a chromecast audio and a nest thermostat. For the last 4 months my google home app has been crashing every time I open it. It is so frustrating to have bought into an 'ecosystem' of smart devices and the app does not even function.
I have tried clearing the cache, deleting the storage, uninstalling & reinstalling, restarting my phone, numerous times. Nothing seems to help.
Please help me fix this problem before I'm forced to sell all my google home devices and buy Alexa devices and a Samsung phone.

We're sorry to hear about this experience. Could you please tell us the make and model of the phone you're using as well as its Android or iOS version? Also, is it possible for you to try it using a different set up phone so we can isolate if this is an issue with the app itself or the set up device?

Hi princess,
The phone is a Google pixel 5, running on Android 13.
My wife has the same phone running the same version of Android and the app works fine on her phone.

Thank you for the information and isolating this to your phone only. For us to narrow things down, it would help a lot if you could reach out to your phone's manufacturer, to see if there are other troubleshooting steps needed to be done. Try this link for your Google Pixel phone and tell us how it goes.
