I have moved a device out the home and it still shows up in LINKED TO YOU, i cannot remember what app i used to link it, trying to unlink it but i keep getting a message THESE SETTINGS ARE UNAVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT. CHECK YOUR WIFI CONNECTION.

Any suggestions would be great

Hi everyone,

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. Go to Third-party apps & services and check if there’s a linked third-party app that you may have used for the device you’re trying to remove. Remove its access if there’s any. Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app once done, and then check if the device is still showing.

Regards,
Alex

It's still there. Google support said this:

You can delete the entire Home structure if you're unable to remove the unwanted devices in the Google Home app. If unresolved, try the following:

  1. Go to myaccount.google.com.
  2. Go to Security tab.
  3. Look for signed-in devices then sign out and remove the device.

If still unsuccessful, consider this as ghost devices which will be removed eventually. We have no control over it as these are devices whose account was stuck in the Google Cloud server.

Basically: we don't know... It's just there, maybe forever.
