Hi this is the 3rd time in the last week the google neat mini speaker in our kitchen has been deleted in the middle of the night. It says that my husbands account is deleting it but he is definitely not doing it as it is happening at 2-3am in the morning. Any suggestions as it’s quite a pain adding it again every morning.

It’s happened 3 times this week tried deleting my husbands account from the home and this morning it said my account deleted the speaker now😡

Just saw another thread of people having the same problem and it said to include Nest Mini Unlinking. Wondering if this problem have been fixed?

Hi Garret,
yes we are still having troubles. It’s only one speaker out of 4. Now it’s daily though. At first it was my husbands accounting deleting it and then I removed him but then I started doing it. I reset the speaker and reinstall it in our home. It used to work for a week now a day at best.

Sorry to hear that you're still having this issue. Would you mind trying to delete the household and creating a brand new household within the app and linking the devices back to it to see if that works?

i, yes we are still having trouble but I’m concerned if we delete the home our other speakers will start having problems as well as right now it is just the one.

I totally understand your concerns about not wanting to do any troubleshooting steps, however, the only way that things may get better is to go through those steps.
So I would still suggest deleting the household and creating a brand new household and linking the devices to the new household again.

Well I did what you suggested now the same speaker has the same problem but a new speaker has also stopped working now.

Sorry to hear that a new speaker doesn't work now. I would suggest doing factory resets on the speakers that do not work.

Yes I have to do a factory reset every time it disconnects. I’ve done the factory reset maybe 50 times on the one that keeps deleting. Works for a day if we are lucky and deletes itself again. I’m wondering if we can get a new one as it is only just over a year old.
