I get to the early part of setting up and the OK box is greyed out, I cannot seem to continue

any ideas on this? I have reinstalled the app, phone is up to date, etc.

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that you are having trouble continuing with the setup process in the Google Home app because the "OK" button is greyed out.
You have clearly shown an image of the screen displaying the Google Terms of Service and Privacy Policy details, which is the point where you are stuck. The reason the "OK" button is greyed out is often due to the page not being fully scrolled to the bottom.
The system requires confirmation that you have viewed the entire text before allowing you to proceed.
To resolve this issue and continue with the setup, please try the following steps:
If, after scrolling to the end of the text, the "OK" button remains greyed out, please answer the following questions so I can investigate further:

thanks for helping me out here.
The screen with OK greyed out doesn't not enable/allow me to scroll in any direction. I have to shutdown the app to close it.
I have the Home app installed on my Pixel 10 Pro that has Android version 16 installed.
once I get Home to open I want to connect to a Nest Mini and a Nest Thermostat (which may only work on NEst app?)
