Honeywell thermostat range bound

I cannot change my temperatures within the home app. Minimum is set to 22 Celsius max is 25.

I am positive this restriction was not there a few years ago.

Where are these values stored and how do I access them?

Thanks

Hi cowanh,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you have a limit and minimum for changing the temperature, and I'm happy to help you with this! I recommend you check if you have locked the temperature range. Please follow the next steps.

  1. Open the Home app
  2. Tap Favourites or Devices .
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile Settings or More More menu Settings .
  4. Tap Lock enter a 4-digit PIN number tap Next.
  5. In the "Temperature adjustment" section: To set a single temperature, tap Set temperature enter the temperature you want your thermostat to maintain tap Next.
To set a temperature range, tap Range enter the highest and lowest temperatures you want tap Next.

Let me know if this helps!

Regards,
Manuel

Sorry, all I see in the settings is general, name, home, room and unlink.

I see no place to enter temperatures.

Hi Cowanh,

Thanks for your reply. Could you please tell me what model of Honeywell you have?
Could you also tell me if the inconvenience started the first time you paired the device on the Google Home app, or if it was working before?

Regards,
Manuel

And yes I do believe it was working, ie.being able to instruct Google home to set the thermostat outside of the 22-25 range, a few years ago. The restriction started at least last year if not a couple of years before.
