How do I COMPLETELY delete my Google Home app

I just deleted my legacy Nest account with the intention of migrating all my Nest products to my Google account. Now, I can't get anything to connect, and I cannot delete my Google Home. I have tried a factory reset on my Google Mini and uninstalling Google Home on my Pixel 6, but every time I reinstall Google Home on my phone the old settings and devices show up. The app says it is not connected, but when I hit "retry" it continues to say it can't connect. I can't connect Nest, either - I keep getting "try again later" messages. It's like it can't connect to my wifi, but there's no option or setting anywhere to connect to wifi. I need to COMPLETELY uninstall the Google Home app on my phone. Does anyone know how to do that, so I can start over?

So, I created a new "Home" and connected the Mini. Well, apparently, that also may have allowed my Nest app to start working, but I had to reinstall all of my Nest devices. I still cannot delete my original "Home". Everything is back online, but the Nest app will not link with Google Home. Even though I enter my Google email and correct password during an attempt to link, it will not connect and gives me an error saying that "if you've migrated your account or want to create a new one, sign in with Google" - there's no option to do so. I'm fed up with Google: the Nest thermostat and Hello doorbell will probably be hitting the garbage can in short order to be replaced with an Ecobee and an Amcrest. What a mess.

Hey there, 

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with this still, I can understand any frustrations it might be causing, but I'm happy to help. 

You can do a few things: Delete the household within the app, delete the app from your device, and clear the cache from the app as well.
