How to remove user from Nest app access

There is a person listed as having 'full access' ion the nest app.  They are not the owner, I am the owner.  I want to remove the person but there is no way to do so.  It says that all members are now managed through the Google Home app.  However, I am the only one listed in the google home app.  I need to remove this person from having access to the Nest account.  Please help, google chat support was no help.

Hello patrick123456,

Thanks for posting here in the Community. If you already migrated your account to Google or created your Nest account after August 2021, you have to use the Google Home app to remove a person from your home structure.

Here are some steps on how to remove someone from your home structure.

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. If you have more than one home, tap Favorites. At the top, select the home you want to edit.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Under the home name, tap the profile icons of home members.
  5. Select the profile icon of the home member you want to remove.
  6. At the top right, tap Remove (the trash bin icon)

Let me know if that helps,

Best,
Edmond
