I am unable to add Wemo devices to Google Home. I cleared the cache of my Google Home app from my phone's native settings, but that didn't resolve the issue. Then I reinstalled the Google Home app on my phone, and that didn't resolve the issue either.
Any recommendations with trying to resolve this issue? Thanks!

Dear Princesss,
Thank you for the recommendation to change my web browser, that resolved the issue. I was able to bring all of my WeMo devices into the Google Home app. I changed my web browser from Edge to Chrome.

Hey nest987,
That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's figure this out.
A few questions: are you getting any message when linking your Wemo account to your Google Home app? Are your devices still working on the Wemo app? Also, was it working before?
Keep us posted!
Thanks,
Alex

Hey nest987,
Thanks for the update and details. You can reboot your Google Home speaker by unplugging it from the power source. Have you tried reinstalling your Wemo app? If the issue persists, try resetting your speaker to its default settings.
Let us know how it goes.
Regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,
I am trying to add my WeMo light switch devices to the Google Home app, not the Google Home speaker. I was asking how to reboot the Google Home app.

Hello nest987,
To make sure, do you have any Google Home or Google Nest speakers? We don't have a way to reboot the Google Home app, reinstalling it is the only way. Also, since the URL portal used to link your devices with Google Home app is managed by Wemo, we'd suggest reaching out to their support team for additional assistance.
Best,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Below is the message I am getting when Wemo is trying to connect to Google Home:
https://oauth-redirect.googleusercontent.com/r/wemo-control?
Do you have any idea what this mean?

Hi nest987,
Thanks for the additional info. It looks like it's an issue with Wemo's web portal. I would also recommend to change your web browser to see if you will still get the same message after trying to link it.
Best,
Princess
