I can no longer login to Nest on my laptop.  I deleted browsing and other data from Chrome, on WIndows 10, and can no longer log in. The Nest page says it has sent an email with password reset info, but no such email has been received. I tried multiple times. Plus

Do you have third-party cookies disabled in your browser for home.nest.com and accounts.google.com?

Hi @HaroldHedelman,

Thanks for reaching out here in the community! I understand how inconvenient it is that you can no longer log in to the Nest app on your laptop, even after trying to delete browsing and other data from Chrome. I'd be happy to help with this!

To better investigate the inconvenience, I'd like to ask the following:

  • Have you migrated your Nest account to Google Home?
  • Are you trying to sign in with a Google email account or a different one?
  • Have you checked if the same issue happens when you log in on a mobile device?

In the meantime, I'd suggest the following:

  • Check in your spam folder or junk folder to see if there’s any email from Nest.
  • Try adding the “account@nest.com” to your allowlist. Some email domains may have an anti-spam feature that could block legitimate emails from Nest inadvertently.

For additional troubleshooting tips, you can check out this article: Troubleshoot Nest app sign-in issues.

I also appreciate your input, @MplsCustomer.

Please keep me posted.

Best regards,

Jenniffer
