I have no option for adding my nest wireless doorbell

When selecting adding device the wireless doorknob is not listed and doorbell option is blocked.

Hi Mark, 
You will need to set up the new Nest Doorbell Battery in the Google Home app, as opposed to the Nest app. 
Once you open the Google Home app, tap the + icon in the top left, and then followed by "Set up device", and then "New device".
