I'm 47 but still under age of consent, according to Google

So, here I am, being 47 yo, living in Germany, and Google tells me that I cannot use automations because I'm under age.

My parents are both dead. I can't talk to them without a ouija, or a medium.

And yes, my birth date is correctly set in my account.

We're sorry the trouble this may have caused you — let's see what's going on.

 

Was it working before? Are you using a regular Google Account? Try removing and adding it back on the Google Home app.

It was working before. It happened after the last update of the Google Home app. And yes, I'm using a regular Gmail account opened almost 20 years ago.

Thanks for the update. To confirm, have you tried the suggested steps above? Do you have a 2 way verification mode in your account? Also, try using a different mobile phone to see if you'll get the same response.

I don't have another phone to do the alpha testing that Google should have done. I am not a Google Home developer, I'm most sorry.

Have you tried removing your Google Account from your Google Home app? If so, could you try resetting your Google Home device and reboot your phone?
