Installed Google Nest Thermostat. Cannot add to Nest app. Protects won’t add to GHome-only Nest app

New Google Nest Thermostat installed and set up with G-Home app.  Existing Neat Protects set up with Nest app.  Cannot get all devices into one app. Prefer to use Nest app but just want all devices in one app.

What type of Nest Thermostat do you own?

Do you get any kind of error message when you try to add the thermostat to the Nest app?

Are you connected to a Wi-Fi network or are you using cellular data when you have this issue?

Are you signing in with Google or a non-migrated Nest account?
