Is Gfiber 6E Router Support planned for Google Home?

I recently moved from AT&T to a Gfiber 2Gig plan. I was previously using Nest router with extenders and moved to the faster Gfiber 6E router and extenders (not the Nest Wifi Pro router).

I was disappointed to loose the support from Google Home where you had granular control over connected devices. The Google Fiber app support for the Router is very basic and a touch above informational only.

Is there any plan to incorporate a similar level of support into the Google Home app for these routers?
