Issues connecting Philips Hue with Google Home

Hi,

I have a Philips Hue bridge and lights that have successfully been set-up via the Hue app.  I am trying to add to my Google Home so i can control via Assistant.

I try and add the Hue lights to the Google Home, it asks me to log into my Hue account and then it asks me to grant permission to the hub which I do and i get the message "Philips Hue is linked".  Then right at the end i get the message "Something went wrong. Try again", which I have done numerous times. I have revoked permissions and re-tried with no success.

Any help would be appreciated as I have exhausted support via Philips.

iConnectHue has the same issue so it must be a Hue related issue.

Resolved.  I deleted my Hue account and recreated and this resolved the issue.  I believe the issue was account based... a few years ago i created a Hue account using my Google email address.  I hadn't used this account for a year or so. Now I have a new system and i was logging in via my Google account, not via an email address and password.  I believe that was causing issues not sure why.
