Limitations of a Workspace account

I know this has been aired many times but I have not found a good answer yet. I pay Google a subscription for a Workspace account, but find that I cannot fully use Google Home or other services that support login with Google, e.g. the Android infotainment system on my car. By contrast, a free GMail account can do these things. What is the reason for this?

Hi @mindthegap

This is predominately a user to user community, and Google doesn't respond to community posts, so for managing expectations you're highly unlikely to get an answer to that question other than for me to confirm (as another user) Google doesn't support the use of Workspace accounts with Google Home, and always recommends the use of a personal account.

Note: Some Google Home app features are not available for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) accounts. To access all Google Home app features available in your country, link a personal Gmail account instead.

Thank you @David_K . It is rather frustrating that I didn't know about this before investing in Google hardware.
