Linking Nest Hub Max with WhatsApp

How can you link WhatsApp with your Nest Hub Max.  I see lots of web-sites saying you can link them, but I cannot seem to do it.  I have an android phone.  Any help would be nice

Hi there,

You can use the Google assistant on a mobile phone with Whatsapp but not on Google Nest hub's.
