Been trying to link my shark smart vacuum for days now, Google home will tell me it’s linked successfully but it’s not showing up. When I check to see my linked 3rd party apps it says it’s link I’ll unlink it and try linking again and nothing. Even asked Google assistant to link the account but still nothing. Google home is becoming annoying, might have to go to Alexa, don’t know why I didn’t in the first place.

Hi Guapdee94,
Please try saying "Hey Google, sync devices" and if you linked your service correctly the assistant should confirm this.
This is a community forum supported by other users and community specialist's so we advise people to always research and choose the assistant that works best for the equipment they own

Hey, I have tried that. That too does not work. I’ve even tried linking it with a android phone on the Google home app still nothing. Google is saying “sorry it looks like that device has not been set up yet, you can do that in system settings” I’ve linked, unlinked, uninstalled all Google apps shark clean apps still nothing. Also my device is a Shark EZ Clean 911s it says on the box works with Google and Alexa

Hi again,
Please also try navigating to the webpage linked below and using the 'Try it' button.

Also please check that you are following the manufactures steps linked below. Third party manufactures develope their own actions to work with the Google assistant and it might also be helpful if you reach out to them for help also.

None of the things mentioned above works. I’m beginning to think it’s a Google home app/Google assistant thing. Did a lot of online research and a lot of people are having problems linking “works with Google” devices. At this point I’m thinking of going Alexa which I don’t but…. I’ve also informed Google about this issue but nothing and the reviews in the App Store from years ago to now is making everything make sense now. Sorry Google had high hopes in you products

Hey there,
Cathal_S Appreciate the information you've provided.
Guapdee94 Just like Cathal_S said, third party manufactures develop their own actions to work with the Google assistant. Also, since the URL portal used to link your devices with Google Assistant is managed by Shark, we'd suggest reaching out to their support team for additional assistance.
Let us know if you have other questions.
Thanks,
Alex
