Migrate How do I know.

 

When I try to as my

im having issues whe adding my

indoor wired 2nd generation camera up.

Anyone have thoughts how I can fix this?

Thank you very much for contacting this community! I understand that you want to know if your Google account has been migrated and that you have had some issues adding your Nest Cam (2nd gen, wired, indoor). Don't worry, I'm here to help you!

Regarding what you have been mentioning, @MplsCustomer shared an article which is very helpful, in which you can check a section called "Verify you've migrated" where you can confirm it in the following way: 

  1. If you're asked to sign in, select Sign in with Nest and then enter the email and password associated with your Nest account.
    • If you're able to sign in with your Nest account, then your account hasn't been migrated.
  2. If you're unable to sign in with your Nest account, tap Sign in with Google.
    • If you can sign in with your Google Account, then your account has been migrated.
  3. If you're already signed in, tap Settings 
    • If the "Migrate to a Google Account" option doesn't appear on the screen, then your account has been migrated.

When it comes to your camera, I'd like to ask you a few questions. This will help me provide you with the most specific troubleshooting steps:

  • Has the device been paired before?
  • When and from where was the device purchased?
  • How far have you gotten in pairing your device?
  • How far is the device from the router?
  • Do you see an error code on the phone when you try to connect your camera?
