Monthly emails

Morning everyone ,i have a Nest E ,its great,i used to get emails to my Gmail email account every month  saying about my usage, it stopped ages ago infact no emails regarding Nest at all, toggle on  as far as i can see blue light up any other suggestions ,kind regards Fran and Ian

Thanks for posting in the community. I’m sorry to hear that you are no longer receiving the Home report monthly in your email. Don't worry; help is here.

Before we continue, I have some questions: 

  • Is the thermostat connected to your WiFi?
  • Have you checked the spam folder in your email?

Hi Derrick, yeah checked everything, spam they were even forwarded to my main email address, yeah connected to Alexa and my app, looking back it was when we moved house, everything else, hopefully you can help us kind regards Fran and Ian 😊

Hi there!

 

Thank you for confirming that your thermostat is online and also for checking the spam folder of your email. Let’s try the steps below:

  • Home app
  1. Open the Google Home app. Google Home app.
  2. Tap Settings and then Notifications and then Email notifications.
  3. Turn Nest Home Report on or off.
  • Nest app
  1. On the app home screen, tap the Settings Nest settings icon.
  2. Select Notifications.
  3. Choose Nest Home Report. You might need to scroll down to find this.
  4. Tap the switch to turn Nest Home Report on or off.

Hi Derick ,yeah all setting are right,same email address as this answer,thought about signing out,uninstalling app,but we have it running lovely on wife's phone also alexa enabled ,bit reluctant to do that always a nightmare to reinstall ,any other suggestions please,thanks again Fran and Ian

Hi there!

 

Thanks for your reply. We can try changing the email address to confirm if maybe there was an issue with the previous one.

Please follow the steps below:

  • Sign in to the Nest app.
  • On the app home screen, tap Menu.
  • Select your home.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap Account and then the email address linked to your Nest app.
  • To change your email address, choose another email address from the list or add another email.
  • Re-enter the new email address to confirm.
  • If the new email address doesn't work, switch back to your original email address. This might solve the problem if it was originally set up incorrectly.

Hi Derick,i did reply i think ,anyway tried that was expecting a raft of emails to come through 👀,but nothing even left it for a few days ,nope, thanks anyway Fran and Ian

Hi Derick ,yeah i sent it 2 weeks ago , just filled another one in  today and sent it 08.10, 14/02/2025 will see what happens ,see what happens now ,thanks again for your help ,it's a funny one 🤣getting other emails ,thanks again Derick ,regards Fran and Ian 😉

Well i done that ,you've been great, feel we are getting somewhere ,i did notice that the form had pre-filled another email address of ours but they are all linked ,kind regards Fran and Ian
