I have a Google Nest Wifi router & Google Nest Wifi point & Google Display all linked through Google Home (iOS) to an email that I wish to depreciate. This is "#" and I'm migrating to #.
In preparation for this depreciation, I havepreviously ended my YouTube subscription and started a new one at #. (Because I could not figure out how to simply change the email account on the YouTube account - issue for a different forum).
Unfortunately Google Home only lists the YouTube account linked to the no longer subscribed "#" email account and I can't see how to change that linkage to #.
So the Google Display has reverted to the advert-supported version - sad because I'm paying!
I tried inviting # to the Home account but it tells me "Can't send the invitation right now".
I imagine that a full reset of the Nests would help me achieve this but it does seem overkill for such a simple action.
Hints, clues, fully working and tested solutions are welcome....

Reading elsewhere it seems I can't add people (such as myself) to my Home account because it's "G Suite".
OK, can't add myself.
How - short of full reset - can I change the email address on the Home account?

To add a home member from my GSuite account ... I was able to click on my account within Google Home and select my non-GS account. Then I could invite my wife. Easy peasy.
Not sure why no one else found this solution.

this is so frustrating, we have a bespoke email for our family which is ritchie.me and unable to share home or invite users, (the free edition from 10 years ago) and now were are going to be charged monthly per user, so now having to set up new email accounts and change everything from tv accounts to insurances and banks, and now i'm trying to change my nest cam email address so it can be added and guess what? i cant so a waste of time and money. Ive always rated google as helpfull but not this time.

Hey, everyone.
I just want to clarify for everyone that Home addresses aren't transferable. You can always set up a new Home account using a different email address. If you're in a situation where you want to change the email address that manages the devices in your home, the best way is to set up a new Home account using the email address you want and then removing the home settings from the previous email address. There's no way to just simply transfer all the settings from one email address to another.
