Moving Nest Hello

Looking to see how I can move the Nest Hello (wired) doorbell.

Upon updating my Wifi in the house, all devices won't reconnected even though the same SSID and password are being used.   First, I'd like to say thanks for removing features NEST had since day 1 and a basic feature like this, the frustration with google anymore couldn't be any worse...

My question here is after adding the Nest Hello to my google home I didn't add it to the correct room.  Do i have to remove the device again and re-add it?  I followed your instructions on going to the devices tab and holding down to the device name, but it just takes me into the camera view.

Device is an iOS device, public preview features are disabled.+

Ah, you've "transferred" your 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell from the Google Nest app to the "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app.  (We haven't done so.)  Can you select your doorbell in the Google Home app, go to Settings, select Device information and click on Rooms to change your "Room"?

In the Google Home app, you should be able to bring up your doorbell, select Settings, select Room, and select a different Room.  In the Google Nest app, you should be able to bring up your doorbell, select Settings, select Where, and under "Where", change your Room

room is not an option, please see the attached photo.

This was where it was located. Thank you!

I did transfer it.

I hadn’t listed that as info due to me having to remove the device, reset it, and then re-add it to update the wifi

Things aren't always intuitive with Google Nest devices.

lol, I have learned that quickly w/ this home Wifi update... pretty sad considering they're a major tech mogul making billions...  I'll likely start to phase out my google stuff knowing it's this difficult to make a simple change.

thanks again @MplsCustomer for the assistance here.
