My camera view turns pink

Occasionally my live view and history views are pink… any ideas as to what is causing this? When I scroll back through my history its just stops at one recording and goes to pink until 

i shut the camera off and re-start it. My camera is plugged in indoors, but i use it for outside security.

Thanks for posting here in the community. Let's get the most out of your Nest Camera and see what we can do here. To confirm, have you tried checking the live view and history from a different mobile device and see if it's still the same? If possible, could you share with us the screenshot of your live view?


Give these steps a whirl:

  • If your night vision settings are on auto, switch it to manual.
  • Toggle the setting on and off and observe the feed to check if the pink view goes away when you toggle the Night Vision settings off.
  • Unplug your Nest Camera from the power source and wait for 30 seconds before you plug back in.
  • Make sure that your Nest Camera is not in an area prone to overheat or direct sunlight.
