Which Google Nest doorbell do you have? Are there any other symptoms besides not ringing your indoor doorbell chime? Does your doorbell also go offline when the doorbell button is pressed? Do you get a notification on your phone? If you have "Visitor announcements" turned on, do you get announcements on your Nest Hub(s)?

The box says Google Nest Doorbell Wired , 2nd Generation. Not sure what you mean by offline….but I do get a notification on my Apple Watch when the button is pressed.

You could check your wiring or doorbell chime.

This post reports the same issue:

Hi @Rattikin69!

Thank you for posting in the community, and to @MplsCustomer for the help! I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) has stopped ringing inside your home. I'm happy to help you!

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

  1. When someone rings your Nest Doorbell, can you see live video from your Nest Doorbell?
  2. How is the temperature where your Nest Doorbell is installed? The doorbell chime doesn't ring if the weather outside is extremely cold because the internal battery gets too cold.
  3. Is the Ring indoor chime enabled, with Quiet Time disabled? To verify this you can follow the instructions below:
  • In the Google Home app, tap Favorites or Devices.
  • Tap and hold your device's tile, then choose More.
  • Select Settings and then Doorbell.
  • Verify that the Ring indoor chime is set to On.
  • Tap More, then Quiet Time, and finally tap Cancel if it's active.

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,
Geremi
