Nest Mini Died trying to replace but issues

My Nest Mini wifi died.  No power lights have tried mulitiple power adapers.

Bought Nest Wifi Pro but when trying to add device to Google Home it keeps trying to connect to Nest Mini and won't add new device.

I would be happy with wiping out all previous setting and starting fresh if that is an option.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Google Nest Mini, having no lights and not powering up, and also that your Google Home app is not adding your new Nest Wifi Pro. I appreciate you already trying different power outlets for the Nest Mini. I understand you'd like to completely clear the previous settings in the app. No worries. I can certainly help you troubleshoot all this. I need to confirm some information to provide the best assistance:

  • Do you have another speaker device? If so, could you please use the power adapter from that one and check if it works?
  • Are you receiving an error when you are trying to add a new device to the Google Home app? If yes, can you share a picture of that?
