Nest Outdoor Camera

We have a Nest outdoor camera which uses the nest app for notifications. We recently bought the new Nest doorbell (battery), but this device uses the google home app. Anyway we can the camera to send notifications through the google home app? Right now all of our devices are through the home app and the camera is the odd ball out. Thanks!
