Nest Thermostat no lnoger showing in app

Whilst I was on holiday my Nest App stopped showing my thermomstat , just a Home Icon which i can set to Away or not.
I can't re add the thermostat as it asks me for the 7 digit key, but the thermostat says it is already connected to the account so doesn't display the key. I tried Resetting the thermostat too but that did nothing. Any other ideas?

The thermostat itself works fine, but would currently be unable to control remotely.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with controlling your Nest Thermostat using the Nest App. Just to isolate the issue, could you check if the correct home structure is selected on the app? Also, please make sure that the account in your app is the correct account.

Hi  not sure what you mean by correct home structure , I can only click into home which then gives home or away modes. it is my correct Gmail account linked and have tried signing out and in again. Mobile phone location was off which I've turned on again so it should use that now to decide that I'm home but it's still essentially the same with no thermostat showing in the app. I took screen shots but can't attach here.

I'm sorry for the late response. Just to isolate the issue, are there any other home members that could control your Nest Thermostat using the app? If so, you could try to get an invite as a family member. You can click on this link to learn more about this.
