Nest Thermostats associated with the wrong home in Google Home app.

I am setting up a second home with Google and connected devices.  So I have two homes set up in Google Home app.  I added 2 Nest thermostats to the 2nd home.  They are in the Nest app with the correct address and everything works fine from Nest app.  However, the thermostats showed up in Google home as devices at my primary home.  When I open the settings for the thermostat the home is grayed out and can't be changed.  How do I get the nest thermostats associated with the correct home in the home app?

What good is this Nest community support if no-one replies?  What a waste of time.

Hey DoubleR11,

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

I'd like to check a couple of things for us to further isolate the issue. Did you log in to the Google Home app using the same migrated account to Google? This is usually what happens when you create the home structure within the Nest app before migrating your account to Google.

What we can do is to do a complete factory data reset on your Nest thermostats, assign it to a different home structure within the Nest app. Once done, you may now log in to the Google Home app using the same migrated account.

Let me know how it goes by replying to this thread.

Best regards,

Ryan
