For the Nest Yalelock, will the lock automatically unlock when you walk up to the door with your phone near or lock when you leave and forget to lock it if the app is on your phone? Does it matter if the app is open or not?
As far as I am aware, you do not have to have the app open for it to work on the lock. Proximity works fine. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.
