Has somebody achieved connection between the nest hub and the home app with iOS 15? I cannot use my device since my phone updated.

@cramos

I just updated my iPhone to IOS 15.2.1 and am NOT seeing any problems in accessing our Nest Hubs from the Google Home app or accessing the camera on our Nest Hub Max from the Google Nest app.

Thank you. I don’t know why I keep seeing the same error.

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I'm sure this is confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Garrett DS

Hey there,

Sorry to hear that you're still experiencing this issue. Would you mind trying to delete the cache from the app again and then uninstall and reinstall the app as well?

Please let me know if that helps.

Best regards,

Garrett DS

@GarrettDS

I don't see any way in IOS to "delete the cache" for an app. The only option is to delete the app.

Hi, thanks again for the support. I’ve also tried that and nothing. What else can I do?

Hey there,

Sorry for the late response.

To delete cache on an iPhone, you'll follow these steps.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap on General. How to clear iPhone cache (Image credit: Future)
  3. Tap on iPhone Storage.
  4. Here, you'll see an exhaustive list of apps on your phone.
  5. You'll get a message informing you that the app will be deleted, but its documents and data will remain.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best regards,

Garrett DS
