Nest app update for Apple TV

Is there any news regarding an update for the nest-app on Apple tv, to solve the login problems?

Google hasn't made any announcements about that. It's not been possible to login to it using a Google account (including Nest accounts migrated to Google accounts) ever since it was possible to migrate to a Google account many many years ago.
