Nest cam indoor/outdoor sending notifications when I am home but notifications are only set to away

I recently purchased the nest cam battery and I set it up on the Google Home app. I set my notifications to Away but continue to receive notifications while I am at home. I have already checked my location settings on my phone to ensure they are on.

It makes you complacent with the notifications when constantly receiving alerts.

Please help before I return them.
